25 Days of Christmas | Day 8
Here are a few of our favorite cocktails for you
to try this holiday season. We’re sure
it will get you and your guest in the spirit of the holiday.

Cranberry Punch Pizazz
Ingredients
8 cardamom
pods
4 4-inch
cinnamon sticks, broken
12 whole
cloves
1 can frozen
cranberry juice concentrate
4 cups of
red wine
1/3 cup
honey
Orange slice
for garnish
Directions
Make a spice bag by cutting a 6 inch square of cheese
cloth. Pinch the cardamom pods to
break. In the center of the cheese cloth
place the cardamom, cloves and cinnamon, bring the corners together and tie
with kitchen string.
In a 3 ½ quart slow cooker mix the cranberry
juice concentrate with water according to the directions on the can. Next add in the wine, honey and spice
bag. Cover and cook on low for 4 to 6
hours. Remove and discard the spice
bag. Ladle the punch into glasses and
garnish with an orange slice.

Santa’s Sleigh
Ingredients
White sugar
crystals
½ cup brandy
2 cups
eggnog chilled
½ cup
amaretto
1 tsp.
ground nutmeg
2 scoops
vanilla ice cream
4 cinnamon
sticks
Directions
Dampen the rims of 4 martini glasses and line the rims with
sugar crystals
Combine the brandy, eggnog, amaretto, nutmeg and ice cream
in a blender; blend until the mixture is smooth. Pour mixture into martini glasses and garnish
with a whole cinnamon stick.

Gingerbread Martini
Ingredients
1 ounce vanilla vodka
1 ounce hazelnut-flavored liqueur
1/2 ounce butterscotch schnapps
Ice cubes
4 ounces ginger beer
Dark rum
Gingerbread man cookie for garnish
Directions
Pour the vanilla vodka, hazelnut liqueur, and butterscotch
schnapps into a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake well. Strain into high
ball glass or any 8-ounce glass filled with ice. Top with ginger beer. Pour a
little dark rum over the back of a spoon and float on top of the ginger beer.
Garnish with a gingerbread man cookie.
