Something that makes me happy

Last year while surfing the World Wide Web, I stumbled across a YouTube video by Mike Tompkins performing Michael Jackson's song P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing).  Every time I hear the original or play the cover by Mike Tompkins it always brings a smile on my face and makes me happy.

There are some things that just make you smile and wanna dance...this is one of those things for me.  I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I do!

Cocktail of the Day | Pink Squirrel

Pink Squirrel Cocktail

Ingredients

·         1 part  crème  de almond

·         1 part crème de cacao

·         2 parts vanilla ice cream

                                                                                            

Directions

Add all the ingredients to a blender, process until mixture is smooth.  Pour into a martini glass and garnish with either a cherry or strawberry and serve.

Power Couple Gabrielle Union and Dwayne Wade are really making us love them!  The picture on the left is from a recent unveiling of the new Porsche which Dwayne was invited to reveal, shortly after the couple headed on a Caribbean vacation to surely relax after the BIG win!  #TeamNoSleep











Worst Reality TV Moment - BBW LA Reality Star Laura Govan AKA LaGo had an interesting wardrobe malfunction at a Pre-BET Award party over the weekend.  Wonder if there was a mirror check before she left the house?  Love the weight loss and new nose but the boob overage along with the NippleGate top wins as the worst moment of the week.  #NotHaters  





StyleDIVA Moment - Well Ev and Chad made it down the aisle this week and these are the shoes he wore....iHaute or iNot?  This Diva says iNot but what was iHaute is that he invited one of his Twitter followers Ms. Cheryl to the wedding.  She recently lost her husband of 30 years so he wanted to cheer her up on the island of St. Barts.  Way cool Ocho!

Wednesday's Nightcap | 4th of July Martini

4^th of July Martini

Ingredients:

1 1/2 ounce vodka 

1/2 ounce triple sec 

1/2 ounce sweet & sour 

1/2 ounce blue curacao 

1 dash grenadine 

Directions,

In a shaker filled with ice, add all ingredients except for the grenadine. Shake and strain into a martini glass.  Add the grenadine and serve.
